Afrofuturism Scholar discusses ideas about Afrofuturism/Futurism, crossing cultural and racial boundaries to expand ideas about art, writing, knowledge, publishing, and production, while contending with challenges about access, virtual space, political context/challenges, and incursion of cyber cultures.

Afrofuturism Scholar will cover an ever-shifting landscape that reflects on the liminality of Afro-futurism and popular culture, globally.Certain catch-words and phrases will be explored, such as the notion of “sustainability,” “perceptions of safety,” or “borders.”Expect bursts of creative motions in language at times as I reflect on possibilities of “us,” as well as share what spills outward from my ongoing research.  I have every intention of giving you a reason to come back and wander through my blog.

Welcome aboard.
